A Quantitative Method to Assess the Vehicle-To-Grid Feasibility of a Local Public Transport Company

In this paper, a quantitative model is implemented with the main goal of building decision support tool to assess feasibility applying Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) service by company operating fleet electric buses. The proposed can calculate energy that vehicle within depot deliver back grid during periods peak demand, based on operational schedule must be guaranteed (number buses in service). After presentation features V2G and benefits technology bring transportation company, structure, related algorithms, as well input output data, are presented discussed. To verify effectiveness validity model, case study manages public city Milan, Italy, described. 2 depots were analyzed considering load hours could injected into vehicles parked depot.
